embedded award 2026 kicks off with high participation and strong signal of innovation

The embedded award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 10 March 2026 at the embedded world Exhibition&Conference.

This year, the competition once again impressed with an overwhelming response. The jury received more than 110 submissions from over 90 companies – a strong indication of the innovative power of the international embedded community.

A particularly large number of entries came from the categories of hardware, software and tools, as well as artificial intelligence, which are among the strongest competitive fields in this year's competition. "We are delighted that the relatively new category of electronic displays, which was only announced for the second time, has once again attracted so much interest. The large number of high-quality submissions shows the enormous dynamism and creativity in this field," explains Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, jury member and Chairman of the embedded world Conference.
The international expert jury was again made up of seven renowned experts from the embedded systems industry in 2026.

Community Choice Award enters its third round

The Community Choice Award will be presented for the third time in 2026 and has established itself as an integral part of the embedded award. “We are thrilled to be able to present this special award again at ew26,” explains Benedikt Weyerer, Executive Director of embedded world.

The award is particularly significant because the embedded community itself decides on the winner. Instead of a jury selection, all trade fair visitors can choose their favourite from the 27 nominated products and thus directly influence the result.

Voting for the Community Choice Award is open until 10 March 2026. Click here to vote for the Community Choice Award.
