Radar platform – MIMO radar kit for rapid prototyping

The radar platform developed by Fraunhofer IZM is a modular development and test environment for radar applications designed for precise position and motion detection. It is intended for use in private and industrial settings, e.g., automatic door systems, access control, and assistance and navigation functions for autonomous vehicles.

Based on a compact MIMO radar system for 24, 60, and 79 GHz, the platform enables fast and flexible prototyping even before application-specific hardware is available.
