The SWARMY sensor-actuator platform from Fraunhofer IZM is a modular, self-sufficient, and energy-efficient solution for monitoring and analyzing processes in manufacturing, logistics, and agriculture. It addresses decentralized and mobile applications that previously required individual sensor and system configurations, which involved high development and commissioning costs.

SWARMY combines hardware and software in a compact platform and can be flexibly adapted to application-specific requirements. The sensor node, measuring only 36 mm × 26 mm, can also be used in hard-to-reach places.
