About us
Zentel was founded in 2003 by the Taiwanese wafer foundry Powerchip as its DRAM chip design center in Japan. In 2006, it started manufacturing encapsulated SDRAM ICs comprising global logistics, sales, and marketing. Since 2019, Zentel has pioneered the development of industry-first cyber-secure DDR3L DRAM ICs with integrated Row-Hammer protection, and since 2023, it included an integrated Error Correction Code with a proprietary Bit-Flip overflow output signal for the controller to detect remote attacks on IoT hardware. Its DRAM IC portfolio ranges from 512 Mbit DDR1, 512 Mbit or 1 Gbit DDR2 and DDR3(L) with 1, 2, 4, or 8 Gbit memory densities (also first cyber-resilient DDR3L SODIMM modules with 2 or 4 GByte) and DDR4 with 4 or 8 Gbit.
