Class 11 - The Bruce Douglass Class - Agile Development Methods

Agile for Safety Critical Systems: Quality Assurance Practices Vortragssprache Englisch

Agile methods have a reputation for being fast and adaptive and they can enhance both quality and team productivity. However, the rigorous needs of safety critical systems development have not been addressed by agile methods - until now. In this webcast, IBM Rational Chief Evangelist, Bruce Powel Douglass discusses the implementation of quality assurance-related agile practices to safety-critical development. The practices include Continuous Execution, Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Incremental Development, Work Product Reviews, and Task Audits. Dr. Douglass will explain each of these practices and how they fit into an agile lifecycle that can be used to develop safety-critical systems.
