The GPM0001, an AMD Embedded Radeon™ E9171-based 3U VPX GPU processing module (GPM), is part of CoreAVI's Platforms for Safety Critical Applications (PSCA) and is ideal for avionics and defense applications requiring an optimal balance of performance and power efficiency, as well as high performance GPU processing and messaging with in-slot output formatting and video capture customization through a personality module. The E9171 graphics design comes with all the data needed for support, manufacturing, and repair as well as data to support DO-254/ED-80 hardware certification. The GPM is also supported with compute, graphics, and video driver libraries complete with data to support DO178C/ED-12C software certification. The available data kits support both FAA and EASA certification authority needs.
CoreAVI understands the challenges integrators face designing a new system application. The application needs hardware, graphics drivers, firmware and an operating system, all of it DO-254/DO-178C safety certifiable. It all needs to be properly integrated, but when each component is sourced from a different vendor, seamless integration becomes incredibly difficult.

COTS-D, or COTS Designs, is the foundation of the Platform for Safety Critical Applications (PSCA). COTS-D is a completely new and unique way for Mil/Aero/Avionics and other safety critical system suppliers to procure Commercial-Off-The-Shelf hardware solutions that are certifiable to DO-254 requirements along with associated software components that are certifiable to DO-178C.
