The family of ultra-long range radio modules and wireless solutions based on Semtech’s patented LoRa™ technology consists of

  • iM880A – LoRa module for 868 MHz

The long range radio module can achieve a sensitivity of more than -137 dBm using a low cost bill of materials. The high sensitivity combined with the integrated +20 dBm power amplifier yields industry leading link budget making it optimal for any application requiring range or robustness. LoRa™ also provides significant advantages in both blocking and selectivity over conventional modulation techniques, solving the traditional design compromise between range, interference immunity and energy consumption.With strong robustness against interferers and the minimized power consumption the radio module module is the best solution for applications require long range and secure radio link within the 868 MHz frequency band.

  • SK-iM880A – LoRa Starter Kit

The Starter Kit is a plug & play solution to explore the features and capabilities of the Long Range Radio module iM880A-L. The kit contains two demo boards and two radio modules soldered on specific adapter boards. The modules are pre-programmed with the Long Range Radio firmware.

  • LoRaMote – LoRa development platform

The LoRaMote is in addition to the SK-iM880A a further development platform for IoT networks based on Semtech's LoRa technology. It includes iM880A-L and various sensors like proximity sensor, magnetic sensor, three axis accelerometer, pressure sensor and temperature sensor. It furthermore comprises a GPS module with integrated antenna.

  • iU880A – LoRa USB adapter

The iU880A is a compact and cost–effective USB stick based on the Long Range Radio Module iM880A-L. With an adjustable output power of up to +18 dBm (EIRP) combined with the outstanding sensitivity of the USB-Stick high ranges can be achieved.

  • iC880A – LoRa concentrator

The new concentrator module iC880A is a high performance RF front end designed to simultaneously receive several LoRaTM packets of different devices using different spreading factors on multiple channels. This unique capability stimulates the implementation of innovative network architectures. The concentrator module iC880A can be integrated into a gateway as a complete RF front end and enables robust communication between a LoRaTM gateway and a huge amount of LoRaTM end-nodes – including the compact and low-cost radio module iM880A-L – spread over a wide range of distance. The model iC880A-GPS with a GPS module provides precision timestamping of the packets and position data.
