Fraunhofer IPMS is a leading international research and development service provider in the fields of key microelectronic and photonic technologies for smart industrial applications, medical technology and mobility. Its research focuses on customised and sustainable MEMS sensors and actuators, microdisplays, integrated circuits, and wireless and wired data communication. In state-of-the-art cleanrooms, the institute carries out research and development on 200 mm and 300 mm wafers and supports companies from consultancy and design through to process development and pilot series production.
