Insight utilizes sensors installed within the production network to identify all IT and OT devices. These sensors can be deployed as hardware or software components and gather detailed information about each device, such as:

Passive DiscoveryOur solution initiates with passive detection of Ethernet-based devices. This initial phase provides a comprehensive overview of your network topology without disrupting operations.

Active ExplorationBy engaging in non-intrusive communication, we extract detailed information about each device. Importantly, this active interaction is indistinguishable from regular OT device communication, supporting IT (e.g., ARP, SNMP, LLDP) and OT protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, ModbusTCP, OPC UA, S7, Beckhoff ADS, and many others).

Minimal Network ImpactWorried about network congestion? Fear not. Our communication is gentle, causing minimal traffic. We target specific devices, speaking their native protocols, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency.

Unlocking OT Asset VisibilitySANCTUARY Insight enables systematic, automated, and cost-efficient monitoring and management of the cybersecurity of OT systems. SANCTUARY Insight uses asset management functionalities to automatically identify all OT devices in production and aggregates information about them. Building on this, Insight enables cyber security management of OT devices by analyzing device information and offline analysis of their software stacks via Insight Analytics (a service provided by SANCTUARY).
