The PSOC™ Edge "rocket ship lander" demo showcases an interactive game built with the PSOC™ Edge MCU. Players control a descending rocket using hand wave gestures to avoid obstacles and land safely, with game graphics displayed on a 10-inch screen.
This demo highlights the PSOC Edge’s compute capabilities, utilizing the Cortex®-M55 with Helium DSP for game logic and the Ethos™-U55 CPU for machine learning tasks. Hand gestures are detected by the Infineon XENSIV™ 60GHz radar sensor (BGT60TR13C), with gesture data processed via a machine learning model using Imagimob and ModusToolbox.
The game features advanced HMI capabilities for visual elements, with visuals rendered on a 10-inch display through the PSOC Edge’s MIPI DSI interface. Users can navigate the game’s intuitive menu via touch or radar gestures, simulating next-generation HMI. Light and Versatile Graphics Library (LVGL) software provides the embedded graphics enablement.
