Session 05: Automotive Functional Safety & Interfaces

How to secure the Image content on Automotive displays (Cluster, HUD and CID)? Vortragssprache Englisch

In the automotive market, the trend towards ever higher display resolutions and larger displays continues unabated. It allows designers and HMI developers to provide the driver with a wide range of information. Soon the full TFT cluster will even be a standard in middle- and upper-class cars. On the other side, moving away from mechanical and LED Telltales also means new approches and technologies have to be taken to secure the given information is shown correctly and failures would be detected and reported. New realtime image analysis technology allows monitoring of safety relevant content in Clusters, HUDs or CIDs.
