Session 15: Display Improvements

Compensation of AMOLED Image Sticking Artifact by Aging Models Vortragssprache Englisch

To overcome the well-known image-sticking artifact, OLED aging models are developed and pixel-wise compensation is applied on AMOLEDs. In modeling the electro-optical, data-counting, and correlation methods are considered. With developed models, the efficiency decay can be predicted, and image-sticking artifact can be compensated/suppressed. The display lifetime is thus extended.
