The Brilliance series of projected capacitive touchscreen products are designed to meet the most demanding requirements for mission critical and other high performance applications where conducted EMC is often high. The modules comply with the rigorous requirements of the EN61000 4-6 Class A EMC specification and are manufactured using the latest manufacturing technologies on a highly automated production line.
Brilliance sensors are constructed from two layers of index-matched ITO on PET substrates providing excellent optical properties. The standard sensors are optically bonded to a chemically strengthened & decorated 2mm thick cover lens. Drive electronics are provided on an integrated flexible tail and are controlled with a state of the art Atmel maXTouch™ driver IC which can be interfaced over I2C or USB.
Brilliance touchscreens are provided as standard products in modular form to provide engineers an easy, fast and straightforward way to incorporate multi-touch capability into their design thus speeding time to market. As an option, the sensor and electronics can also be provided on a stand-alone basis pre-laminated with optically clear adhesive for the end user to integrate with their own lens assembly.
To guarantee successful integration in the end product, users of Brilliance series products are provided with access to the TouchNetix ‘TouchHub’ software and hardware toolset which makes evaluation, integration, tuning and testing of the capacitive touch subsystem a seamless process.
Brilliance series products are available to suit displays in the range of 4.3” to 10.4” diagonal.
