The key feature of the new LD10-26Bxx and LD20-26Bxx AC/DC converters with 10W or 20W output power is the extremely broad input voltage range of 90 to 528 VAC or 100 to 745 VDC.

Since both AC/DC converter series can be supplied with a choice of alternate or direct-current voltage on the input side, they are also suitable for operation on certain voltages that can be derived from a 230/400V three-phase alternate current network. These include the neutral point displacement voltage between external conductor L1, L2 or L3 and neutral conductor N (effective value 230 VAC), the output voltage of a three-phase half-wave rectifier (163 to 325 VDC without storage capacitor), and the output voltage of a three-phase full-wave rectifier (488 to 563 VDC without storage capacitor).

The output power of the new converters can reach its full nominal value at input voltages between 110 and 480 VAC or 155 and 675 VDC, and is subject to a derating at higher and lower input voltages.

The highly compact AC/DC converters with dimensions of 62 x 45 x 30 mm (LD10-26Bxx) and 70 x 48 x 30 mm (LD20-26Bxx) meet the requirements of the EMC directives CISPR32/EN55032 CLASS B, IEC/EN 61000 and are offered respectively in six versions with output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 24V. The isolation voltage between the input and output is specified at 4,000 VAC, the temperature range at -40°C to +70°C.

Aside from a general power supply, the field of application for the short-circuit, overvoltage and overcurrent-protected converters also includes industrial devices and equipment, smart home applications and networks with pronounced voltage fluctuations.
