ELinOS - Embedded Linux Development Environment
ELinOS 7 is an integrated development environment for the development of Linux systems and applications for embedded devices. The feature assembler allows the user to easily define the configuration of the system and its scope. The creation of the file system and the adaptation of the kernel configuration is done in the background, whereby only components that are actually needed are applied. This reduces the memory requirements and leads to a significantly reduced attack surface compared to a standard Linux kernel. As a result, an ELinOS system runs with much more performance on the target system with significantly increased security.

CODEO - Eclipse-based integrated Development Environment

ELinOS includes CODEO 7, an Eclipse-based development environment, which enables easy system configuration, application development, remote debugging, monitoring and tracing. In the latest ELinOS version 7, kernels based on the Yocto project can also be integrated.
The latest Linux kernel version 4.9 (long term supported) guarantees highest functionality and performance. This version also has security services that alert the user to general vulnerabilities. Changed source packages can be automatically imported in a separate build. In addition to the large number of supported architectures, the NXP PPC e5500 (64-bit) is now added.
