Designed as an IoT gateway for cyber physical systems (CPS), the embedded server CPS-100-DP uses an efficient and powerful Intel Atom E3805 CPU with a 2GB DDR3L RAM and a variety of different industrial standards such as Modbus TCP / RTU, PROFINET, Profibus DP, OPC UA, MQTT and EtherNet/IP ™ via isolated serial and digital interfaces. Concerning the hard-ware the CPS-100-DP offers an internal eMMC memory with 16 GB standard capacity in addition to a 2 GB RAM processor. External interfaces include DVI-I and DisplayPort as well as dual LAN for the 10/100/1000 Mbit/s network, optional IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN, USB 2.0 (500mA) and USB 3.0 (900mA) and COM RS232/485 with auto flow control. As operating system, the CPS-100-DP uses the Moon Island 3.1, developed by Intel for IoT applications, which offers specific advantages such as high IT security, advanced network control with VPN integration and IP tables, or flexible adaptation via Wind River Development Tools. Another option is Windows 10 IoT. The CPS-100-DP is suitable for direct IoT communication in a wide range of applications including production, light and heavy industry, technical monitoring or extended logistics solutions thanks to a wide temperature range and protection against shocks.
