Miniature SMD oscillators with variable operating voltage (1.8V ~ 3.3V) and
(H)CMOS output signal

In addition to the extremely compact size of these oscillators, the advantage at concept of a new design is that these XOs can be employed in the application at any operating voltage between 1.8V to 3.3V.
Therefore, the customer does not need to order a specific operating voltage such as 1.8V / 2.5V / 2.8V / 3.0V / 3.3V and is much more flexible when using these XOs than when previously using a fixed voltage type XO.
The voltage function may also vary during operation of the XO in this range of 1.8V ~ 3.3V, with the variations of the frequency remaining minimal.
For battery-operated devices, the oscillator remains functional for a long duration as the battery voltage drops lower.
Due to their very small size, the JO32 (3225) and in particular the JO22 (2520) packages, these parts are suitable for applications in which a compact integration is a priority for the engineer due to the high degree of miniaturization in today’s circuits.
The JO22 and JO32 are particularly suitable for miniaturized electronic devices with very limited space on printed circuit board and suit many IoT and wearable type applications.
Both oscillators are also available in the industrial operating temperature range (-40°C ~ +125°C).
