The box computers of the BT-790X series combine high performance and extensive connectivity with simple handling. The robust housing enables operations in difficult conditions. The embedded computer is equipped with a seventh generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processor (Kaby Lake) that provides for signature high performance with minimal power consumption. The combination of exceptional image and video processing with an efficient remote monitoring helps the BT-790X series to meet all demands regarding crucial applications and high dependability. Proven areas of operation for this series are factory automation, logistics or automotive.
An Intel C236 chipset is the central processing unit on the mainboard. The industrial computer withstands temperatures of -20 to 55 °C as well as accelerations and vibrations (up to 40G with mechanical HDD and up to 60G with SSD) without problems. The power supply for this series can be ensured by power adapters ranging in voltage from 9-36V, thus offering flexibility for various operational scenarios. Since the series supports Intel’s Active Management Technology (iAMT), the computers can be installed in locations, where there is no direct access to the device. The computer can be managed via remote management through the network. Connectivity options are ensured by three RJ-45 Gigabit LAN ports and optionally either a WLAN module or a HSUPA module for a 4G wireless connection is available.
Computers of the BT-790X series offer three independently operating display ports (1x DVI-D, 1x, 1x VGA, 1x HDMI) and is thus perfectly suited for digital signage scenarios. In addition, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and optionally up to two 2,5” HDDs or SSDs can be built in. The hard drives are operated in RAID 0 mode for more storage capacity or in RAID 1 mode for more data security. Six USB 3.0 on the front side as well as six RS232 ports on the back side offer additional connectivity options for peripheral devices.
