TA Integrator is the module for Software Architects, Software Integrators, and Function Developers to integrate functions inside execution sequences of an existing software platform. Moreover, it eases shared software development between OEMs and Tier1, and features automatic state-of-the-art data protection for multi-core data stability, as well as coherency needs fulfillment. TA Integrator provides the OS configuration and the configuration for RTE generation. Additionally, it also provides data protection routines and patched data accesses.

    • Integration of functions into execution sequences (assignment of functions to sequences, definition of the execution order inside the execution sequences)
    • Initial software distribution (task to core assignment)
  • Software architecture improvements of existing Integration
    • Using TA Optimizer modifications to improve timing behavior, efficiency (by reducing communication and synchronization overhead), load balancing or resource consumption
  • Configuration and verification of data protection
    • Selection and configuration of data protection strategies
    • Automatic creation of data protection routines
    • Visualization and verification of data protection routines
  • Shared software development
    • Management & configuration of Tier1, OEM and adaption parts
    • Timing Analysis of overall system by both Tier1 and OEM
    • Shared software development scenarios
      • Tier1 delivers full project or parts to OEM (possibility to ship Tier1 part with data protection) as C code, obfuscated C code or object code
        • The OEM can use an own process to build the final software
      • Tier1 delivers fixed architecture and overall integration to OEM
        • The OEM can create new builds using update own code (e.g. new versions for certain functions)
      • Tier1 delivers partly/mostly architecture and overall integration to OEM
      • The OEM is able to modify the integration of own functions (limited to the degree of flexibility provided by the SW architecture)
