The new Narrowband IoT modules from Telit are available in various product families in the categories LTE Cat NB1 and LTE Cat M1. They are based on the current version 13 of the 3GPP standard and are specifically tailored for IoT applications. They offer optimized power consumption and improved coverage. With maximum downlink and uplink data rates of 250 kbps to 1Mbps, they are perfect for IoT applications that need to send or receive small amounts of data. They have a power-saving mode that allows battery-powered devices to last for up to 10 years without battery charging. In addition, the new Telit modules offer expanded discontinuous reception and extend the capabilities of mobile applications to scenarios where building penetration or underground reception is required.
LTE Cat NB1 and LTE Cat M1 are available in the product families xE910, xL865 and xE866. Optionally with fallback on 2G to ensure a smooth transition.
