EUROS additional components are software items that control and interface with peripherals, which, by virtue of their sheer numbers, variety and hardware-level programming requirements, present formidable obstacles to embedded system developers. The importance of these components cannot be overestimated. They are integral to the valid functioning of any embedded system.
Based on our proprietary TCP / IP stack, you can implement a variety of Internet applications up to web server applications in few steps.
The EUROS network manager implements the TCP / IP protocols with BSD sockets. The network manager is the base for other products, such as TCP / IP over ISDN, Ethernet / IP, Web Server, FTP, SMTP, SLIP, Telnet, DHCP, PPP, SNMP, SSL, VoIP, etc. On the low-level site it is coupled with one of the many available Ethernet drivers or in the case of a PPP connection over a serial or ISDN driver.
In addition EUROS network manager allow the use of real-time Ethernet protocols such as GPRS, Powerlink, Profinet IO and EtherCAT.
Local Bus Systems
EUROS CAN drivers provide convenient access to CAN controllers in an embedded system.
CAN drivers enable the user to receive and transmit CAN messages at a high level, without requiring detailed knowledge about the CAN controller itself. The drivers can run in a multitasking environment, which allows access to CAN from multiple tasks at the same time. Detailed error management allows control over error situations on the CAN bus.
CAN drivers are available for many internal microcontroller CAN controllers, as well as external peripheral controllers.
USB Host Software
The EUROS USB host software implements all components that are required in order to use USB devices in EUROS applications:

Other Local Bussystems
EUROS supports the following local bus systems: RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, AS-i, Profibus, LIN bus, FlexRay, IEEE 1394, DIN-Messbus, INTERBUS, SCSI, PCI.
The EUROS file system component allows file level access to block-oriented devices, including the following: NOR flash. NAND flash, Adesto DataFlash (formerly an Atmel product), SD/MMC cards, Compact Flash, USB flash drive, Hard disk, Floppy disk, RAM.
SD/MMC cards, Compact Flash cards, USB flash drives, hard disks and floppy disks are all compatible with the FAT file format. FMS2 can handle FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32.
Multiple tasks can access the file system simultaneously. Access coordination and synchronization are performed by the file system component itself, in order to maintain data consistency. A flash file system and a fail-safe variant of FMS2 are available.
A unified driver interface is an essential part of the EUROS system. It facilitates development and portability of EUROS-based applications. EUROS offers drivers for a broad range of peripheral devices.
EUROS offers several scalable graphics libraries. Each one provides the basic graphics functions as well as a variety of other facilities, including the issuance of TrueType fonts, loading bitmaps of various sizes, edge smoothing, a Windows "look and feel," integrated message handling and pre-defined control elements.
The OPC UA comminication standard is also available for all embedded systems operating under EUROS control. The OPC UA stack provides the service-oriented architecture needed for establishing of the interoperability of devices and services within the new emerging technologies such as Industry 4.0, Smart Home or Internet of Things. Using the new embedded, scalable EUROS OPC UA implementation, those communication standards are now available also for embedded devices of arbitrary size allowing for their vertical and horizontal crosslinking in modern network environments.
