The serial@ctrl1 routes serial interfaces to Ethernet and connects peripherals via TCP/IP. Peripheral devices are connected via RS232 / RS485 interfaces or digital inputs. The serial@ctrl1 can also read analog values and drive inductive loads with it‘s digital outputs. In addition to routing of serial protocols, appliances and machines can be controlled over the network. Multiple serial@ctrl Devices can transparently route serial connections over long distances using Ethernet / Internet. Additional Interfaces like CAN, I2C, 1-Wire, EIB are available for OEM versions of the Product. The serial@ctrl1 features a Web based confi guration server and supports JSON based commands for confi guration and control. A integrated Logic Engine can be used to implement local control logic. The serial@ctrl1 inputs are individually programmable for digital or analog inputs featuring 0..10V measurement, confi gurable high low thresholds for digital functions as well as timing measurements or counters. The device includes a power fail safe memory to protect counters and elapse time measurement from power outage.
