Virtualizer Development Kits (VDKs) are software development kits containing design-specific virtual prototypes, debug and analysis tools and sample software to accelerate embedded software development, integration and test.
The Virtualizer Develoment Kit (VDK) Family for ARM® Cortex™ Processors provides out-of-the-box support to start software development early on ARM's big.LITTLE™ processing and ARMv7 and ARMv8-based designs, and can be easily modified and extended to represent your specific design needs.
The VDK for Renesas RH850 MCU and VDK for NXP S32V MCU are software development kits containing an out of the box fast simulation of the RH850 microcontroller family and S32V microcontroller family, respectively, combined with a set of software development tools that enables software developers to start their development early, accelerate system integration and test, and perform fault and coverage testing in support of safety certification efforts.
VDKs are available from Synopsys as well as semiconductor companies. Example model support in VDKs include Infineon AURIX MCU family and DesignWare ARC HS Processors and many other platforms from leading semiconductor companies.
