MicroSys announces a versatile family of Freescale QorIQTM based VMEbus system products. The products are addressing a still large base of VMEbus applications, requiring performance and feature enhancements within their product lifecycle. The heart of the VME systems is our core architecture, the miriacTM MPX standard, currently including the P2020, P2010, P1022 and P1013 QorIQ CPUs.
Back in the early 80tes of the last century MicroSys has released the first VME solutions. Often declared for dead, this marked still requires performance and functional upgrades on CPU board level, to serve complex applications with demanding I/O infrastructures.
MicroSys has decided to offer for those applications a family of VME boards to address the required flexibility, versatility, compatibility and longevity. In addition with the local support we can provide, easy of integration and response for custom specific requirements can be guaranteed.
With the P2020, P1022, P1013 CPUs a variety of perfor-mance levels, from dual to single core functionality and graphics (HDMI) support can be selected.
The CPU core speed varies between 1,2 GHz (P2020) and 1,0 GHz (P1013/P1022).Memory options are 1 GB or 2 GB DDR2 RAM and NAND Flash is offered from 256 MB to 512 MB.
On board I/O interfaces are microSD, SATA (for on board mountable devices) and via an extension connector CAN, Audio or ARINC I/O can be integrated.
Via the front panel, 1 GB Ethernet, eSATA, USB, HDMI, and RS232 interfaces are accessible.
The operating temperature is 00C to +700C and systems for extended temperature of -400C to +850C are available on request.
Supported operating systems are Linux, Microware OS-9, VxWorks and others are made available on demand.
We will continuously extend this product range, according to market demand and based on Freescales complete QorIQ Pxxx CPU portfolio. Variants supporting P1025, P1016 or P2010 CPUs will be made available on customer request.
