1997 Detlev Daub founds a one-man business named Daub CNC Technik. Initially, the company is a pure service provider, offering CNC-processing for sheet metal to local customers. The first machines originate from a bankrupt's estate. 1 employee.
1999 A new production hall is built in order to accommodate for the quick growth of the company. A Trumpf machine for combined punch-laser processing is procured. 3 employees.
2000 The 19zoll.com domain is hosted.
2001 Start of CNC milling with a Datron HSC milling cutter for producing aluminium cases and front panels. The private company is converted to the Daub CNC Technik GmbH & Co. KG (limited partnership with a limited liability company as general partner).
2002 The old punch from the bankrupt's estate is replaced by a newer Trumatic 260 Rotation with automatic tool change and tool rotation. 4 employees.
2003 New strategical orientation away from being a pure service provider, towards offering systems and solutions including intelligent products and production techniques.
2004 Presentation of the first new product line of aluminium cases at the Electronica in Munich. Daub CNC's first online store opens. 5 employees.
2005 Purchase of two further milling cutters, and expansion of the range of products. The laser puncher is sold due to lack of space.
2006 The fourth milling cutter is put into operation. The CAD department is converted to 3D, and Daub CNC starts to project all their products as 3D models. The PLM system Catia V5 is used for this purpose. A new order and production management software including an online store is installed and starts operation on 1st January 2007. 7 employees.
2007 Introduction of digital multicolour printing directly onto the cases; a second production and storage hall is opened. The fifth milling cutter is purchased. We celebrate the tenth anniversary of Daub CNC. 10 employees.
2008 Extension of the machinery by two Datron CNC milling machines, a precision saw for aluminium and a CNC controlled bolt insertion press. By the new subrack series xflexx we significantly extend our product range. 15 employees.
2009 The emerging global financial and economic crisis made us tackle the problem head on. A Datron M10 Power milling machine is purchased; the project Online CAD is launched; preparations for DIN EN ISO 9001 certification start.
2010 Online CAD goes online with great success and is presented to the public for the first time at electronica 2010. The production area is expanded by 800 sqm - 18 employees.
2011 Successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. Together with three other companies the "Feinblechinitiative" [Initiative Steel sheet] is founded. Expansion of the administration area by 180 sqm by adding another floor to the office building - 20 employees.
2012 Migration of our SAP ERP software to SAP Business One. Expansion of our sales activities. Expansion of our case programme: The series TUB, MGS and Aluflexx are launched - 22 employees.
2013 Acquisition of the exclusive distribution rights in seven European countries for cases of the leading Japanese manufacturer Takachi Electronics Enclosures Ltd.
