KAMAKA Electronic Bauelemente Vertriebs GmbH presents highly energetic hermetically sealed capacitors from the manufacturer Evans Cap.
The TDD Hybrid Capacitors offer the highest energy density in an almost square housing with the measurements 35.56mm x 35.56mm. Three different heights are available: TDD1 Series 7.87 mm, TDD2 Series 11.43 mm and TDD3 Series with15.24 mm.
The capacities are between1.500µF and 33.000µF at an operating voltage of 50V to 125Vdc. The temperature ranges maximum -55°C to 125°C. The new design with high density ensures a very low ESR, which enables high-current applications with minimal voltage fluctuation. In addition to this, less heat is generated in the area of pulse applications, whereby the cooling demands in the application decrease. Furthermore, thanks to the low height, the board layout can be flatter, and as a result, Back-up system solutions can be realized very compactly.
Connecting Bolts for the Hybrid- Capacitor Series THS & TDD
Mounting studs for THS and TDD Hybrid Capacitors are directly welded to the leaded end of the housing. As appropriate for the insertion into the predrilled circuit boards, these bolts offer a strong hold and stability for the mounting of the Hybrid Capacitors. Connecting bolts are, according to #2-56 CDA 752, available in different lengths. The layout of these connecting bolts is centered with 0.80” distance on the positive connection and it is placed 90° towards the negative connection. The mounting of the connecting bolts easily passes the 50# Pull-test without technical failures or a distortion of the housing.
