The SATA M.2 ArmourDrive™ solid state drive (SSD) module family expands Greenliant’s portfolio of high-reliability, small form factor storage products. SATA M.2 ArmourDrive provides high performance and low power consumption, while operating at extreme temperatures between -40 and +85 degrees Celsius. It supports the SATA 6Gb/s interface and is backward compatible with previous SATA revisions.
A removable SSD, SATA M.2 ArmourDrive surpasses SATA hard disk drives with its superior functionality, performance and reliability. Addressing the needs of space-constrained embedded systems, SATA M.2 ArmourDrive is built in the widely used 2242 and 2280 form factors.
Industrial temperature (-40 to +85 degrees Celsius) SATA M.2 ArmourDrive is offered with high-reliability 3-bits-per-cell (3D TLC) NAND and is rigorously tested to give customers cost-effective and reliable removable solid state storage able to withstand the most demanding environments.
The integrated NAND flash controller with built-in advanced NAND management firmware communicates with the host through the standard SATA protocol. It does not require any additional or proprietary software such as the Flash File System (FFS) and Memory Technology Driver (MTD).
SATA M.2 ArmourDrive’s advanced NAND management technology enhances data security, improves endurance and accurately tracks the usage of the NAND flash. This innovative technology combines robust error correction capabilities with advanced wear-leveling algorithms and bad block management to extend the life of the product.
The enhanced features and small form factor of SATA M.2 ArmourDrive give industrial, networking and video customers added flexibility for data storage design.
87 PX Series SATA M.2 ArmourDrive products are available from 32 GByte to 1 TByte.
