Phyton offers ATE manufacturers semi-finished, customizable hardware and software kits for building customized device programmers inside of their own fixtures. This approach allows integrators to craft an optimal, cost effective hardware configuration that can be readily adapted to existing fixture mechanical design, and to optimally integrate the Phyton software into the ATE software. This solution is based on the Phyton CPI2-GM1 programming modules. The miniature CPI2-GM1 module (67.5 x 42.5 mm) is an almost self-sufficient device programmer that includes all key hardware components required for device programming. Each module has a unique serial number stored in the module firmware. An end-user creates a custom motherboard for plugging as many CPI2-GM1 modules as needed. The modules communicate to the user’s equipment via internal USB, Ethernet or UART interfaces. Phyton provides with the detailed guidelines and schematics to provide seamless integration of CPI2-GM1 modules to the end-user fixtures.

Phyton produces and sells ChipProg-ISP2 family of universal in-system device programmers for mass production and engineering. The family includes single-channel and gang programmers intended for programming multi-PCB panels. Currently the ChipProg-ISP2 programmers support about 38000 microcontrollers, flash memory and programmable logical devices. This includes, but not limited to, ARM Cortex-M, TriCore, C2000, MSP430, PIC, STM8, and other popular MCU architectures, SPI flash memory devices and complex PLDs. The programmers support devices with all known ISP interfaces, including JTAG, SWD, SPI, I2C, UART and others. Phyton device programmers are featured with intuitive and friendly GUI and Simplified interface for mass production, scripting language, command line, On-the-Fly control, Application Control Interface (ACI) and integration with NI LabVIEW software. The programmers are ATE friendly and being launched in the standalone mode can be controlled by ATE signals.
