Based upon QUALCOMM’s powerful Snapdragon S4 Plus APQ8060A dual core application processor, the DragonBoard Development Kit developed by Intrinsyc includes all of the software tools and accessories required to immediately begin development work. The platform is a kitted solution for application developers and OEMs to evaluate, develop, test, and deploy applications that utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Plus processor. It is comprised of the OPEN-Q™ main board which is a complete System-on-Module (SOM) as well as a Carrier board (mini ITX form factor) and a Peripheral Kit. The Snapdragon processor includes dual-core high performance up to 1.5 Ghz Krait CPUs, a powerful multi-media engine, 1080p HD and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and a full suite of sensors – compass, gyro, accelerometer, etc.
