Synopsys' DesignWare® ARC® Processor portfolio consists of of 32-bit CPUs that SoC designers can optimize for a wide range of uses, from deeply embedded to high-performance host applications in a variety of market segments. Designers can differentiate their products by using patented configuration technology to tailor each ARC processor instance to meet specific performance, power and area requirements. The DesignWare ARC processors are also extendable, allowing designers to add their own custom instructions that dramatically increase performance. All DesignWare ARC processors utilize a 16-/32-bit ISA that provides excellent performance and code density for embedded and host SoC applications. The RISC microprocessors are synthesizable and can be implemented in any foundry or process, and are supported by a complete ecosystem of commercial and open-source tools, operating systems and middleware. This includes offerings from leading industry vendors who are members of the ARC Access Program as well as a comprehensive suite of free and open source software available through the embarc.org. The ARC Subsystems pre-integrate specific IP blocks with an efficient processor and software, giving designers configurable, SoC-ready solutions that enable them to quickly implement the required embedded control functionality for their SoC.
Come visit the Synopsys booth and see our eSIM Software Stack for ARC Platforms demonstration, which shows the major capabilities of the Truphone/Cellnetrix eSIM Software Stack on the ARC Secure IP Subsystem. It demonstrates the main use-cases of GSMA Remote SIM provisioning for IoT and consumer devices, such as in-the-field remote device activation with initial subscription and provisioning of a new subscription. This technology enables mobile devices to be remotely provisioned over the air without physical SIM cards in a secure and reliable way. Multiple operator profiles can be provisioned to, and used by, a device. The demo setup includes subscription management platform SM-DP+, mobile device simulation and features the ARC EM Starter Kit board running the eSIM software.
