About VDMA

The VDMA represents more than 3200 companies of the mechanical engineering industry. The VDMA Machine Vision division (VDMA MV) unites about 120 producers of machine vision components and sytems, and system integrators. The objective behind this industry-driven association is to support the industry. VDMA MV’s activities include statistical analyses, standardisation, marketing activities, public relations, trade fair policy, as well as networking events and conferences.

Anne Wendel joined VDMA in 2007, being responsible for EUnited Robtics, the European Robotics Association. Since 2014, Anne Wendel has been responsible within the VDMA for the Machine Vision division with around 120 member companies.

Anne Wendel studied International Economics in Tübingen and Sao Paulo. During her studies she gained practical experience through internships at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart, Robert Bosch S.L. in Madrid, Blaupunkt Ltd. in Braga and SEAT S.A. in Barcelona.
