Martin Mason


Martin is the Sr. Director for Embedded Memory at GlobalFoundries in Santa Clara and has responsibility for the NVM road-map including MRAM, other emerging NVM technologies and OTP/MTP memories for Automotive, Industrial and multi-market applications. Prior to joining GlobalFoundries Martin ran mixed signal analog, FPGA and NVM business units at various semiconductor companies in silicon valley and has over 20 years of semiconductor product management and marketing experience. Martin grew up in North Wales, has a BEng. degree in Microelectronics and microprocessor applications from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and holds over a dozen US patents in areas a diverse as FPGA security, motor controllers, optical isolation, field programmable analog, wafer level packaging technology and high precision data-converters. He currently lives in San Jose with his wife, 3 children and their dog 'Rosie'. .
