Ralph Grundler

Ralph Grundler joined Synopsys in Sept. of 2002 as WW FAE Manager for all IP products and has held positions as CAE Manager, FAE Manager, Business Development and now Senior Product Manager. He has worked in the Interface IP business since '97 as a designer for Phoenix's Virtual Chips division and worked as an ASIC, PC and graphics card designer before that. He has been responsible for the design of a number of ASICs & PCs including prototyping. He has also has been involved in the designed several Interface IPs including PCI to PCI bridges, AGP, IRDA, USB, USB OTG & others, writing specifications, RTL code & synthesis scripts. He joined Synopsys from inSilicon where he was WW Director of FAE. He was responsible for pre- and post-sales support for inSilicon's Digital and Analog IP technology worldwide. Ralph holds a bachelor of science degree in electronic engineering, majoring in high speed design, from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo or CalPoly SLO.
