Prof. Rigo Herold

Rigo Herold is a full professor at the faculty of electrical engineering at the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau, Germany. He received a Diploma degree and an MS degree in electrical engineering from University of Applied Sciences, Dresden, Germany in 2006 and 2007. He received a doctoral degree in electrical engineering from University of Duisburg-Essen in 2011. 2007 he joined the Fraunhofer-Institut für Photonische Mikrosysteme as research scientist. 2012 Rigo Herold joined the Fraunhofer-Einrichtung für Organik, Materialien und Elektronische Bauelemente COMEDD as group manager for system design. Rigo Herold joined the faculty of electrical engineering at the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau in 2013. He is the chairholder for digital systems. His research interests are in adaptive and interactive data glasses, human-computer interaction, mobile computing, design and implementation of augmented-reality-systems and augmented reality based driver assisting systems.
